Cliff Blankenship

Clifford Douglas "Cliff" Blankenship (born April 10, 1880 in Columbus, Georgia, died April 26, 1956 (age 86) in Oakland, California) was a professional baseball player. He played his first game on April 17, 1905. He played his 95th and final game on August 18, 1909. His batting average was .225.

Was instrumental in signing HOF pitcher Walter Johnson to the Washington Senators from his Semi-Pro team in Weiser, ID
