Les Bingaman

Lester Alonza Bingaman (February 3, 1926 – November 20, 1970) was an American football defensive lineman in the National Football League. Bingaman played seven seasons with the Detroit Lions, starting in 1948. He earned trips to the Pro Bowl in 1951 and 1953. He collapsed on the sidelines while serving as an assistant coach for the Miami Dolphins and later died in his sleep.

At reportedly well over 300 pounds, Bingaman was the heaviest player in the NFL during his playing career.
