With the growing popularity of the Beatles throughout the 1960’s, it is no surprise that Topps, among many other corporations, was able to capitalize on the singing group’s success as well. In 1964 Topps printed 3 series of black and white cards totaling 165 cards. Each of the three series consisted of 50-60 cards, each with a black and white photo along with a reproduction autograph in blue overtop the picture. The backs contained the series number along with the individual card number as well.
