The 1933 DeLong Baseball cards were originally issued in 1933 in packs of gum.  This 24-card set features black-and-white photos of the most popular players against a color background.  The back of the DeLong baseball cards gives tips for playing better baseball by the baseball editor of the Boston Transcript.  Both the original cards and the reprint set measure 1 15/16" x 2 15/16". 

Players featured in this set include: Lou Gehrig, Charlie Gehringer, Mickey Cochrane, Pie Traynor, Jimmy Foxx, Lefty Grove, Kiki Cuyler, Rabbit Marranville, and Lefty O'Doul.

The original 1933 DeLong Gum cards usually cost $1000 for a Near Mint card and are very difficult to find.
