The 1970 Topps Glossy football cards were issued as inserts in the 1970 Topps football first series wax packs. The set is comprised of 33 full color cards with rounded corners. Unlike the regular 1970 cards, the Glossy cards contain minimal text on the backs and list only the players name, position, team, and card number. Each card measures 2 1/4" by 3 1/4".

This set has many hall-of-famers including: Johnny Unitas, Bart Starr, Len Dawson, Sonny Jurgensen, Willie Wood, Fran Tarkenton, Joe Namath, Bob Griese and O.J. Simpson.
