The 1948 Bowman football card set includes 108 cards that measure 2 1/16" by 2½". The 1948 Bowman football cards were issued in three sheets, but the third was printed in much lesser quantities. Therefore, cards #3, 6, 9, etc. are much more expensive and difficult to find than the other numbers.
The key rookie cards from this set include #7 Steve Van Buren, #22 Sammy Baugh, #36 Bulldog Turner, and #63 Pete Pihos.
