Yovani Gallardo
Yovani Gallardo (pronounced gah-YAR-doh) (born February 27, 1986) is a Mexican professional baseball pitcher for the Texas Rangers of Major League Baseball. He was selected in the second round of the 2004 Major League Baseball Draft out of Trimble Technical High School in Fort Worth, Texas by the Milwaukee Brewers.
Gallardo is listed at 6'2" and 210 pounds. He has showcased impressive hitting skills for a pitcher. In 416 career at-bats, he has an average of .195 with twelve home runs and forty-two RBIs. He regularly throws four pitches: a fastball, curveball, slider, and changeup with a lot of movement.
