1952 Bowman Baseball Cards
The 1952 Bowman Baseball Card Set includes 252 cards that measure 2 1/16" by 3 1/8" and is the last set in era of the small baseball cards. The 1952 Bowman Baseball cards are one of the first to feature the players' printed autographs. Although overshadowed by the "over-sized" Topps cards of same year, 1952 was the most attractive Bowman card design to date and is the "bargain set" of the early 1950s due to the plentiful high number series that ranges from cards 217 to 252, the absence of Ted Williams, and the weak rookie card class of #5 Minnie Minoso, #33 Gil McDougald and #244 Lou Burdette.
