1951 Topps Ringside Boxing Cards
The 1951 Topps Ringside Boxing card set contains 96 cards that feature both boxers and wrestlers. The Topps Ringside set is the most recent nationally-issued set of cards exclusively devoted to prizefighting. The front of the cards feature a color drawing of the subject in front of a solid color background and surrounded by a white border with black trim. The name of the subject and their weight class is printed in a white panel on the bottom of the card. The back of the card includes information printed in black ink printed over a plain cardboard background. The word "Ringside" is printed in bold at the bottom.
The Topps Ringside cards are 2 1/16" by 2 15/16". Also, the 1951 Ringside cards were issued in two series; series one #'s 1-48 and series two #'s 49-96. The cards are sometimes seen in connected (perforated) pairs.
