1971 Milk Duds Baseball Box
The 1971 Milk Duds Box set contains 72 cards that were issued on the back of a five cent box of Milk Duds candy and measure about 6" x 3". Unlike the hand cut 1971 Milk Duds Singles, the cards are numbered in small print from 1-24 with three different players sharing each number.
This set also features a large number of Chicago Cubs players, presumably due to the fact that Wrigley Field is close to the factory where the candy was produced.
The HOF'ers in this set include Hank Aaron, Ernie Banks, Johnny Bench, Lou Brock, Roberto Clemente, Harmon Killebrew, Willie Mays, Thurman Munson, Frank Robinson, Pete Rose, and Tom Seaver.
