1936 R312 Pastel Photos
The 1936 R312 set was produced by National Chicle and consists of 50 unnumbered colored pastel photos. The photos measure 4'' x 5 3/8", are unnumbered and have blank backs. These pastel colored images were popular in that era, and capture the great depression era players, such as: Joltin' Joe DiMaggio, Hank Greenberg, Rogers Hornsby, Jimmie Foxx, Johnny Mize and Lefty Gomez. Another unique feature of the R312 set that it contains multi-player images with captions.
