1964-65 Topps Hockey Cards
The 1964-65 Topps Hockey Card Set consists of 110 cards that feature the toughest and most exciting players from the National Hockey League's original six teams. The cards are similar in size and style to Topps' football issue from 1965. The cards measure approximately 2 1/2" x 4 11/16" and feature bold colorful fonts and a solid color background. The team name is located at the top in semi-arched lettering and the player's name and position are printed on the bottom of the card. The backs of the card have statistics from the 1963-64 season in two languages, a short bio and an interesting fact about the player in a cartoon section.
The key rookie cards found in this set include #47 Roger Crozier, #64 Jim Pappin, #1 Pit Martin, #67 Rod Seiling and #66 Lou Angotti. Star players in this set include Bobby Hull, Terry Sawchuk and Frank Mahovlich.
