1956 Topps U.S. Presidents
The 1956 Topps U.S. Presidents card set consists of 36 cards is a reissue of the Bowman set released in 1952. The 1956 Topps U.S. Presidents cards are the same size as the original Bowman set, 2½” by 3¾”, and not quite as wide as the other Topps vintage issues.
The 1956 Topps U.S. Presidents set card fronts and biographies remain unchanged, but the design of card backs were changed slightly and has blue print, instead of black. The set contains all the U.S. presidents, up until Eisenhower, and 3 cards depicting historical events.
