1909 C.A. Briggs 1909-10 E97-2 C.A. Briggs Black and White Proof Back Near Complete Set - 2.5 (GD+)

The C.A. Briggs Company came out with several E97 Sets in the early part of the 20th century. The E97-1 set consists of colored photos, and the E97-2 set consisted of the same photos but in Black and White. This particular set is a Proof set for the E97-2. The fronts have the same exact pictures as the E97-2s, but the backs on the proofs are blank. The actual E97-2 cards have checklists on the card backs. 

 This set contains majority of the cards in the set.  This is the largest set of E97-2 Proofs that we have seen.
