The 1953 Topps Baseball set features some of the most vibrant colors and impressive realism ever seen in a trading card set at this point in time. The set consists of 274 cards total, each measuring 2 5/8" by 3 3/4" in size. Each card features a solid white border and displays the player's name, position, team, and team logo. The cards also include red and black banners, thus differentiating between American and National League players, respectively.
The back of each card lists the player's 1952 and career statistics, as well as including biographical player data, a short write-up, and a "Dugout Quiz" with trivia questions and a cartoon.
This Near Complete Set / Lot contains no duplicate cards.
