1961 Topps Baseball Complete Set

The 1961 Topps set is comprised of 587 cards. The front of each 1961 Topps baseball card contains a color photograph of the player with the player's name, position, and team at the bottom of the card. The reverse features the player's biographical information and statistical history.

For the first time, Topps included a sub-series called "League Leaders" and also included separate numbered check lists. Other sub series in the 1961 Topps set are: World Series Cards, Baseball Thrills, MVP's of the 1950's, and Sporting News All-Stars.  Juan Marichal, Ron Santo and Billy Williams were the future Hall-of-Fame players with their Rookie Cards in the 1961 Topps set.
