This 1954 Red Heart Dog Food Baseball Card Complete Set consists of 33 cards. Each series in this 1954 Red Heart set has a specific color background—red, green, or blue behind a color photo of each player. The rarest background is red.
This 1954 Red Heart Baseball Card Set were issued via a mail-in offer through the makers of Red Heart dog food. The cards were still available to those who requested them as recently as the early 1970’s.
Important cards in this set are: Mickey Mantle, Stan Musial, and Duke Snider. Neither Mantle or Musial appeared in the 1954 Topps Set and Musial was not in the 1954 Bowman set either.
This almost complete set contains 32 cards out of the possible 33 cards. This is not a complete set.
