This 1966 Topps Minnesota Twins Team Set has all of the baseball cards that contain the stats of the 1965 American League Champions. It was the year of the Twins. The Twins won 102 games and captured the Twin Cities first pennant, only to lose the 7th game of the World Series to Sandy Koufax and the Dodgers. Zolio Versalles won the A.L. MVP, Tony Oliva won the Batting Championship with a.321 average and Mudcat Grant was the TSN Pitcher of the Year, with a 21-7 record and a 3.30 ERA.
