This 1964 Topps Philadelphia Phillies Team Set contains the cards from the strong 64' Phillies club. Led by the bats of Johnny Callison and Rookie of the Year Rich Allen and the pitching of Jim Bunning, the Phils were in first place by 6 1/2 games, with only 12 games left in the season - but it was not to be! The Phillies lost the next 10 games and letting the Cardinals overtake them for the pennant in one of the most famous nosedives in baseball history.
