The 1951 Topps Red Backs baseball card set includes 52 cards that measure 2" by 2 5/8". The 1951 Topps Red Backs cards can be used to play a card game version of baseball. The red backed cards are less difficult and expensive to collect than the blue-backed cards from the same year. The cards were packaged as two connected cards with a piece of caramel in penny packs.
The cards in this set vary in grade from Very Good- Excellent/Mint but average somewhere between Very Good and Excellent. While none of the cards in this set have any major/significant creasing, approximately half of them have paper wrinkles. Most of the wrinkles can only be seen from either the front or the back of the card (they don't go all the way through).
