1971 Topps 1971 Topps Baseball Low Number Set

1971 Topps Low
This 1971 Topps low number set includes cards 1-643. The last series (644-752) is not included in this set. This last series accounts for the majority of the set's cost but contains the least amount of star cards. Low number sets are very popular with collectors because it is possible to obtain the set for a fraction of the price and still get almost all of the popular players.
The front of each card features a player photograph surrounded by a black border. The border shows wear easily making this set hard to find in a high grade. The player's name, position, and team are located at the top of the card. The reverse features another photograph of the player as well as his biographical information and career stats.
The cards in this set are essentially "pack fresh", the only thing that keeps this set from grading Near Mint/Mint is the centering, and we've done our best to replace all of the cards that have worse than 80/20 centering on one side.
Sub-series for this set include League Leaders (61-72), Playoffs cards (195-202), and World Series (327-332).
Rookie cards featured in this set include: Bert Blyleven, Dave Concepcion, and Steve Garvey.
This set is loaded with hall of famers including: Jackson, Niekro, Hunter, McCovey, Carlton, Mazeroski, Perry, Seaver, Kaline, Carew, Stargell, Bench, Morgan, Jenkins, B. Robinson, Marichal, B. Williams, T. Williams (MG), Fingers, Aaron, Gibson, Ryan, Banks, Yaz, Killebrew, Palmer, Perez, Mays, Brock, Clemente, F. Robinson, and Aparicio.
