The 1966 Topps Batman Puzzle Back card set consists of 44 cards, each measuring 2 ½” by 3 ½”.
Card fronts feature color drawings of scenes of Batman and Robin fighting off evil villains, with the outline of a blue bat that contains the card title in white letters. Card backs have a short description and can be put together to form one of six different puzzles.
By the time these "puzzle backs" were issued, the Batman television franchise was well-established, and Topps was enjoying significant success in its show-related card sets.
