NM/MT - 8
The original 1912 T207 baseball card set consists of 200 cards that measure 1½" by 2-5/8". The T207 baseball cards were printed by the American Tobacco Company and can have several different backs, including Broadleaf, Cycle, Recruit, Napoloeon and Red Cross.
This 1912 T207 Brown Background Reprint Card set was produced by Dean's Cards. Just like the original cards that were issued by the American Tobacco Company, this T207 Reprint Set consists of 200 baseball cards that measure 1½" by 2-5/8". This Dean's Cards produced reprint set covers all the bases of the original set, including the Broadleaf, Cycle, Recruit, Napoloeon and Red Cross back variations as well as the many other variations in the set like differences in cap color to mislabeled card backs.
This T207 Reprint set contains ten players that are in Baseball's Hall-of-Fame, including Roger Bresnahan, Walter Johnson, Max Carey, Tris Speaker, Frank Chance, John McGraw, Bill McKechnie, Harry Hooper, Chief Bender, Bobby Wallace, Zach Wheat and Joe Tinker. Also included are Eddie Cicotte and Buck Weaver, who were imfamously banned from the game in the 1919 Black Sox scandal. This set also has 3 cards with the impossible to find "Red Cross" backs, as well as the rare Louis Lowdermilk and Irving Lewis cards, which sell for thousands of dollars a piece - that is if you can find them.
