This 1957 Topps "4th Series" Baseball Card Complete Set contains all of the 97 cards from #265 to #352. Traditionally, Topps would issue less cards from their final series of the year, but this was not the case in 1957, when the toughest cards to find (and the most expensive) were in a mid-series. When a collector is missing cards from the 1957 Topps set, they are almost always these hard-to-find 4th Series "short-printed"cards.
The 1957 Topps Baseball Card Set was the first issue with the 2 ½" by 3 ½" modern-size cards. The front of the card features a large vertical color photo of the player, with the player's name, team and position at the bottom of the card. The back of each 1957 Topps card features the player's biographical information and complete statistical history.
