This 1966 Topps High Number Baseball Card Set consists of the 76 cards of Series 7. Comprised of cards #523 to #598, the 1966 Topps High Number Set is one of the toughest in the hobby to complete, due to the scarcity of the short-printed cards. Typically, the 7th series of the 1966 Topps cards will account for 50% to 75% of the set's overall value.
Many of the 1966 Topps Series 7 baseball cards were not available to collectors, until years later, explaining why so many of the cards are still available in pristine condition. The Hall-of-Famers in the 1966 Topps 7th Series were: #530 Robin Roberts, #550 Willie McCovey, #580 Billy Williams and #598 Gaylord Perry, which is the last card in the set.
