1962 Topps 1962 Topps Baseball Complete Set

The 1962 Topps contains an unusually high 598 cards. The front of each card features a color photo of the player surrounded by a wood grain border. The reverse provides the player's statistical history and biographical information.

The important sub-series for this set include the popular Babe Ruth series, summarizing the life and career of Ruth (135-144), Sporting Magazine All Star Series AL (466-475) and NL (390-399), and Rookie Prospects (591-598). The Rookie Prospects set is particularly hard to find and for the first time Topps put multiple players on each rookie card.

Important rookies for this year include: Boog Powell, Lou Brock, and Gaylord Perry.
