1933 DeLong Gum (R333) Baseball Cards

The 1933 DeLong Gum (R333) Baseball Card Set was issued by DeLong Gum company of Boston, Massachusetts and consists of 24 cards.  The cards have a striking design that features a black and white player photograph set in front of a colorful baseball stadium background. The backs of the 1933 DeLong Gum cards include detailed playing tips for young, aspiring baseball players that were written by Austen Lake, who was a Boston sportswriter.

The 1933 DeLong Gum cards were one of five baseball card sets, produced by bubble gum companies, that flooded the market in 1933.  This would be DeLong's one and only set of baseball cards.
