This 1951 Topps Team Almost Complete Set contains nearly all 9 of the unnumbered cards in the set. The cards measure 5 1/4" x 2 1/16" and feature a black & white team picture and have yellow borders. Issued on thin photo stock, the cards are very condition sensitive.
Each photo has a variation, which is either dated with the year 1950 before the team name on the front, or is undated. The dated team photos tend to be more rare, but the two variations sell for roughly the same price. The 1951 Topps Team Cards of the Boston Red Sox and St. Louis Cardinals are the hardest to find.
Purchased separately the cards in this set have a break-up value of $8,400.00.
