The 1948 Leaf Football Card Near Complete Set has many of the 98 cards that measure 2 3/8" by 2 7/8", and this 1948 Leaf Football Almost Complete Set contains the majority of those cards. The 1948 Leaf Football Card Set features both college and professional players. These cards were issued in two different series, with the second series (50-98) being more difficult and expensive to collect.

This set was the first time in 13 years that a mainstream football set was available, meaning all cards are considered rookie cards, even if it does not mark a player's debut to the sport.
