I just purchased a 2003 SI magazine that I desperately wanted.I received it in 2 business days and I trusted it would be in good condition.I was shocked to find it was in better then new condition(if that's possible). Recently, I Put my favorite Oakland Raiders of past, the winning years,on display but was missing some years. I found Dean's cards online and I typed in the year and player and a picure of card would appear. This was so great, I spent hours looking for old cards and bought some, delivered in 3 days. Recently I have been back in the hospital for some more procedures. Once I could sit up I got my laptop out and went to my favorite baseball sites. I have bought hundreds of baseball cards from Dean's and I've been very pleased with the quality and service. Last week I bought some "flags of the nations" tobacco cards. Since they are from 1910, I expected to receive heavily creased nearly worn out cards. Instead I got 21 beautiful cards. Even the "vg" cards were very nice. The cards were in such good shape that a friend of mine was certain they are reprints ( they are not, they are original). I'm going to order about 40 more of these cards this week. Once again Dean's has come through with a high quality poduct. ( also I got the cards in two days).

Thank the good Lord for Dean's and my laptop computer. Been laid up for a few days and have spent countless hours looking through Dean's super football inventory. Cards, mags, etc. My first cards of any kind were 1955 Bowman football. All my old Cleveland Browns were right at my finger tips. I just got lost in time I am afraid. So, going to have to go to my money tree someday soon and see what I can buy. 1 card or a thousand and 1 cards, you will get the same great care and service from Dean's. Pleasantly surprised! - 4/8/2012

Having sold my collection about 30 years ago, recently got interested in baseball cards again. Always finding the 1972 Topps cards 'funky', and oddly enough, never having any of them in my old collection for some reason, I figured it would be fun to start with some 1972, so stumbling on Dean's Cards site, I figured I'd 'gamble' on a 100 Card Excellent 'starter lot' with a guaranteed value of $100. Figuring some catalogs list commons at a $1, I'd get a bunch of low number commons, but not having any already, that was fine. Got the package very quickly, and after looking at the first 2 or so, found 4 doubles, and was pretty disappointed.. but then I kept going.. and going.. and going.. all said and done, sure, I got 4 doubles.. and 136 others - and instead of low's, these ran all the way into the high numbers, and hardly all commons, unless Rose, McCovey, Fingers, Hunter, Ted Williams, etc. are commons! To say I'm pleasantly surprised is an understatement! More orders will surely follow soon. Thanks, folks!

One More Reason.... - 6/17/2011

Still another reason to do your scanning and buying of collectible cards at Dean's is that you get to see what you are buying to make sure the cards you want are the cards you will b getting. My example is from the Topps 1965 Football "Big" set. Being a devout Raiders fan, I found card #136 to be Clem Daniels, as expected. Card #146 was to be Art Powell, but the photo was that of Clem Daniels again. If I had not had access to the photos of the cards, and was buying off someones checklist, I'd not got what I expected to get. I hate error cards and would never buy the Powell card. Many, many reasons to go to Deans and do your studying before you buy......they are the best. Johnny K

I'm a returning customer to Deans.com for two main reasons, it's the most affordable/value-based way to buy cards and the most convenient. Even when I have gotten good deals at the local card shop, I find that it's still cheaper to buy from Dean's because of the great pricing levels they have on all cards, stars and commons. That's not to mention that I'd rather save my precious time by click through the cards that I want or do a search by player name rather than sorting through 16 different sets by hand. I buy mostly commons and have been overwhelmed by the value and flexibility available on the web-site as well as value added from the top-notch the customer service. There was a 1965 Mickey Lolich card marked EXMT that looks so nice, that I personally feel, many other sellers would have marked it NRMT. Early Monday morning I received an email including the cards that I ordered telling me that my order had been sent with tracking number. I live in Virgina, and I received the cards Wednesday morning. Loving Preservation of American Sprots Heritage - 2/1/2011

I have always wanted to have my very retrospective Oscar Gamble collection, chronicling the bugeoning of his wondrous afro from the early '70s(reaching its zenith in 1975 with my beloved Tribe) to its untimely demise during his initial shortened stint with the (evil)Yanks. Well, i quickly stumbled onto Deanscards.com after doing a quick search. I love having access to all of the images and the organization of the cards by team, year and condition. There isn't another site out there so easy/fun to use. So, after i placed my initial order, i eagerly awaited the shipment, tyring to stop myself from pining for the delivery which would surely take so long to arrive. The day after i placed my first order, i decided to start a Mudcat Grant collection as well. Surprisingly, i found a great selection of affordable cards from the '60s too. I read an email the next day. Tara, from Deanscards shipping was so nice that she packed the two orders together and removed the shipping charge from the second order. And, she did so without me even asking. So, i was delighted but still eagerly anticipating sliding each card Gamble, Grant, Rick Waits and Jim Bibby card into the plastics-proudly displaying the rich and lustrous history of Cleveland baseball. Then, a major snowstorm locked its frifid jaws upon the entire US!(sub-zero temperatures, ice, snow). Oh, how long Walt Williams, Boog Powell and John Lowenstein will you wait? To my utter surprise, the cards had arrived the same day, only 2/3 days after i placed the order! Not only this but, Deanscards had lovingly wrapped them all up and expertly packing them within protective packaging to ensure that they arrived in perfect condition. Had they not done so, condensation from the extreme conditions could have damaged my 1976 Tom Veryzer. But, everything had been wrapped, protected, wrapped again, bound and beautifully preserved. I opened the package and excitedly organized them in my binder. After admiring my new collection i started searching for Mickey Klutts, Pete LaCock and other hard to find and valuable cards from national our sports heritage on the website. Unbelieveable Experience! - 1/3/2011

In December, I ordered and received a shipment of over 400 cards from many different years to complete assorted sets, and every card was received in exactly the condition I selected. Not only that, due to the obvious level of organization of their cards, I received the cards via priority mail 2 days after ordering, and my order wasn't completed on my end until well after midnight! No need to EVER thumb through box after box again for me at a card shop. All cards were well protected in both plastic and hard plastic sleeves, in a card box with styrofoam padding on the ends. Searching and finding the cards I need and want has never been easier than with Dean's Cards. Thank you so much!!!

I have purchased baseball and football cards from Dean's. The quality of their cards are always as described, no over grading, and I have acquired many hard to find SP and other hard to find cards, at reasonable cost. Their discount program is a rare find these days. Their customer service is as good, or better, than the cards they sell. Even though it is an internet transaction, their Customer Service has always treated me like a valued customer, without any eye to eye contact. Their site is easy to use and great for people like me. I live in an area that has no retail outlets or even has card shows anymore, plus, I am disabled and I'm unable to get out and about like I used to be able to do.

Received yet another nice delivery of very hard to find Bowman and Topps FB. When it comes to FB, I collect only Chicago Bears cards and some of those early 50-60's players are becoming difficult to obtain. Even in lesser condition, you rarely see them at card shows and I am done [for the most part] with trying to rummage through stuff that a lot of dealers have little or none of. I purchased some cards for an upcoming show...Walt "No Neck" Williams cards are not that easy to come by and I found about 30 here. Also picked up a few cards of Doc Edwards, former ML catcher now coaching our local independent team, the San Angelo Colts. The cards were exactly as described! Now I'm not to much into the grading of cards - if it looks good to me, that is good enough - but I think they've developed a very accurate grading system. I recently purchased a nice sized lot of cards from this website. Having never used Dean's in the past, I wasn't sure what to expect. When the cards arrived, the order exceeded my expectations! The grading is conservative, which is nice. I notice on eBay that a lot of Good cards are described as VG - and the photos can be misleading, after all the difference can be minimal and nothing beats in-person inspection. This is not a concern when buying from this site! The VG cards looked nicer than expected - some of these would be called EX by unknowing sellers on eBay. Everything was nicely placed in sleeves and shipped safely & promptly. Furthermore, the pricing, when buying a lot of cards individually, is the best I found on the internet. And, believe me, I shopped long and hard before purchasing. If this service continues, as I expect it will, I will be buying all my cards through this site as I build sets in the coming months. After losing my entire baseball card collection, I decided to rebuild it, one year at a time, beginning with 1957. It took 10 years to finish the 1957, 1958 and 1959 Topps sets, and I must have bought cards from 20 dealers. Building the 1960 Topps set, I have relied on Deans and have been buying a team at a time. The website is organized well, is very user friendly, and simple to navigate. Ordering from Deans has almost been as much fun as opening the wax packs back in 1960 and then trading with the other lads in the neighborhood. Deans Cards is the best online dealer in the business.

Save Time/Disappointment/Gas - 10/24/2006

You can save a lot of time, disappointment and gas, shopping with Dean's Cards! I can remember in the past wasting a lot of time going from card shop to card shop and not finding the cards that I was looking for. Also this made me very disappointed and not to mention the gasoline I burned up doing this. Also what about the outrageous amounts these "rip off" dealers wanted for some cards that looked like they had been run over by a truck! From the comfort of your home you can browse Dean's vast card listing and order them with great ease! I have done a lot of business with him and find his organization 100% great! The beautiful cards he has sent me, I could "never" find where I live! Also he sells vintage cards and many card shops only want to sell "current" cards of which I definitely have no interest in! I've even been laughed at when I told them I wanted 1950s/early 60s Topps cards. Many told me that they don't exist! You just can't do wrong doing business with Dean's Cards!

Dean's honorable and honesty all in one! What a joy to still know that a promise still can be delivered. I recently emailed Dean's and asked if they were interested in an old comic book. I soon received an email from them asking me, “what would I like”? I asked them for a few Nolan Ryan cards from his days with the Astros. They responded with a “yes!” And we exchanged addresses , it was a subtle handshake over the net. Within a week I had my favorite cards, they were beautifully organized. Recently I bought several vintage cards online from Dean's. Having realized 2 days later that I omitted a $30 card I wanted from my purchase, I went back online and purchased the card in a separate transaction. Dean went ahead and combined the purchases into one transaction and credited my Paypal account for the discount I would have received if I had purchased the cards all at once. I never even asked for this treatment and certainly didn't expect the refund. When I received the cards, I found that all of them were accurately and conservatively graded. I have purchased a fair amount of older baseball cards from Dean. His website is easy to use, in particular I love the ability to search for available cards by set and number. You can select cards from the type of grading available. All of the cards I have received have been in the condition advertised, if not better! Dean's prices are fair and it is easy to pay. Delivery has always been prompt. I buy a lot of cards on eBay but Dean's service is more valuable if you are looking for specific cards and want to know exactly what you will pay. My experience with Dean's Cards has been excellent! When the site was first being set up I had some trouble finding something. Dean responded immediately to my email for help. I have since ordered a number of cards. They have all been exactly what I ordered and in at least as good a condition as advertised. In fact, on my second order I made a mistake with one of the cards. I was treated MORE THAN FAIRLY, returning the card and having it replaced with what I had intended to order in the first place. Dean has helped me complete my wife's (Yes, my WIFE'S) Padres Baseball card collection. I had no concern with the safety of my information or the online transactions. He has very good pricing, quality, and customer service. If my experience is any indication, you can buy with confidence.
