Pre-WW I Baseball Card Sets
By the end of the first decade of the 20th Century, baseball had become America's favorite sport. The 1908 baseball season featured two great pennant races. On the last day of the season, there were still three teams still in contention in both leagues. The following year, tobacco companies began producing baseball cards to take advantage of the sports popularity to sell their products. Other industries soon followed suit and issued sets of their own. The result was a lot of great baseball card sets that are still collected over a century later.
Some of the most popular sets include: T206, T205, T207, Cracker Jack and many more. Each of these great sets that you see here on-line was built from the Dean's Cards inventory of over one million cards. We developed a software that can construct sets in just a few seconds to your exact specifications, while allowing you to view huge scans of each card.
