The 1956 Topps Baseball set consists of 340 total cards, each measuring 2 5/8 by 3 3/4. The set is very similar in design to that of the prior year, as each card features full-color portraits and black-and-white action shots of each player. The player's name and team can be found in the top left corner on the front of the card.
The 1956 Topps Baseball cards were introduced as part of a regular set packed with baseball talent from the mid 1950s.
Card backs for #1-180 can be found with either white or grey cardboard.
