This 1956 Topps Baseball Pins Almost Complete Set contains many of the 60 pins. Please see the description below, for a list of the cards in the set and their images.
Marketed as "Baseball Buttons", the pins sold for a nickel a piece and measure only 1 1/18" in diameter. Most of images are the same as those in the base set, and were printed directly on the pins, making the pins easy to scratch and very condition sensitive. The 1956 Topps Pins were produced om very small numbers, making them one on the scarcest Topps sets of the 1950s.
The 1956 Topps Baseball Pins set contains 12 Hall of Fame players, including Willie Mays, Ted Williams and Hank Aaron. The set contains three short-prints: Chuck Diering, Hector Lopez and Chuck Stobbs.
This almost complete set contains 32 cards out of the possible 60 cards. This is not a complete set.
