This 1953 Johnston Cookies Complete Set all 25 cards of Milwaukee Braves players. The cards measure 2 9/16" by 3 5/8" and were issued after the Braves moved from Boston for the team's first season in Milwaukee. The cards feature colorized images made from black-and-white player photos.
One 1953 Johnston Cookies baseball card came in each box of Pops cookies, and if the fan did not feel like eating his weight in cookies, complete sets could be ordered by mail.
This almost complete set contains 22 cards out of the possible 25 cards. This is not a complete set.
