 In only there second year in Minneapolis, the 1962 Minnesota Twins won 91 games.  This was good for 2nd Place in the American League, five games behind the Yankees.  The 1962 Twins had a strong and balanced line-up, but only three strong starting pitchers.  Although, they hung close to the Yankees all season, the 1962 Twins just couldn't catch them.
The cards in the 1962 Topps Rookie Parade subset, which includes cards #591 to #598, are NOT included in standard team sets. The Rookie Parade cards each have five players, from multiple teams and can be purchased separately. These cards are very expensive and not considered part of a standard 1962 Topps Team Set.
