This 1955 Bowman High Number Complete Set contains only the 95 baseball cards from the last series. These cards, which are #225 through #320, are much more difficult to find and expensive to collect. The 1955 Bowman Set was the last baseball card set issued by the Bowman Gum Company and is easily recognized by the television set framing each player's color photograph.

The 1955 Bowman baseball cards measure 2", by approximately 3", but due to lax printing standards, the width of the cards can vary by as much 1/4.  Included in this series is a subset of umpires, which are interspersed throughout the cards numbering 226 to 317. The cards featuring the umpires are scarce, because many were discarded by the kids of the day.
