Terry Driscoll

Edward Cuthbert "Terry" Driscoll, Jr. (born August 28, 1947) is an American college athletics administrator and former professional basketball player. He currently serves as athletic director at the College of William & Mary.

A 6 ft 7 in forward born in Winthrop, Massachusetts, Driscoll played at Boston College in the late 1960s. He was named Most Valuable Player of the 1969 National Invitational Tournament after leading his school to the tournament final. After graduating, he was selected by the Detroit Pistons with the fourth pick of the 1969 NBA Draft; he was also drafted by the New York Nets of the American Basketball Association. Driscoll began his professional career in Italy, then joined the Pistons for the 1970–71 NBA season. He played five seasons in the NBA and ABA as a member of the Pistons, Baltimore Bullets, Milwaukee Bucks, and Spirits of St. Louis, averaging 4.1 points per game and 4.1 rebounds per game over the course of his American professional career. He spent the next five years in Italy as a player and then a coach, and won two Italian championships.
