1962 Fleer Football Cards
The 1962 Fleer Football Card Set includes 88 standard size cards, which measure 2½" by 3½". This set was reduced in size from the 1961 Fleer Set, and this year featured only players from the American Football League. The front of the cards feature either a player in action, or a portrait of them, while the back shows some statistics, capped off with a blue banner on the top with the players name, position, and team. Centering issues are known for this year, and makes this set harder to find in high grades.
The key rookie cards from this set include #3 Gino Capelletti and #86 Ernie Ladd, and this set contains key cards from Jack Kemp, Don Maynard, and Jim Otto.
