1957 Topps Baseball Cards
The 1957 Topps Baseball Card Set has 407 cards, the first in the smaller or modern 2 ½" by 3 ½" card size. Highly popular because of its attractive color photos, complete career statistics and multi-player cards. The most unusual fact about the the 1957 Topps set is that the 4th series , cards #256 to #352, were issued in smaller numbers, when compared to the other series.
The unnumbered checklist cards are very scarce, especially unmarked, and are not considered part of the standard set. The rich 1957 Topps rookie crop includes:#18 Don Drysdale, #35 Frank Robinson, #212 Rocky Colavito, #328 Brooks Robinson and #338 Jim Bunning.
