1959 Topps Football Cards
The 1959 Topps Football Card Set consists of 176 standard size cards, that measure 2½" by 3½". It is easily recognizable by its oval shaped photos, and was the first football set to include team cards with checklists on the back. There is a rich crop of 6 future Hall-of-Famers: #4 Max McGee, #51 Sam Huff, #103 Alex Karras, #166 Jerry Kramer, #132 Jim Parker, #140 Bobby Mitchell and #155 Jim Taylor.
The backs of the 1959 Topps football cards have a trivia question and a white box, that reveals the answer, when scratched with a coin. A scratched box and a visible answer is considered a "Minor Flaw", which lowers the condition is by one grade.
