The 1955-56 Quaker Oats Hockey Card Set was produced by Parkhurst Products, and has 79 cards. Also known as the 1955-56 Parkhurst Ouaker Oats set, the bilingual cards were inserted into cereal boxes in Canada. The 1955-56 Quaker Oats hockey cards are identical to the standard Parkhurst cards, with the exception of green lettering on the card backs, instead of the red print used in the standard set.
The 1955-56 Quaker Oats set featured cards of players from only the Toronto Maple Leafs and Montreal Canadiens - which were the only two Canadian teams at that time. The two premier rookies in the set are: #18 Dick Duff and #50 Jacques Plante.
