The 1959 Kahn's Baseball Set contains 38 cards measuring 3 1/4" by 4". The Ohio based meat company produced cards this year that showcased players from two Ohio teams, the Cincinnati Reds and the Cleveland Indians, as well as players from the Pittsburgh Pirates. The front of these cards once again featured a black and white photograph of the player, along with a facsimile signature as well as Kahn's signature slogan. " The Wiener The World Awaited", with the backs carrying a story from the player.
As was typical for Kahn's cards, cards in high grades are a scarcity due to the harsh nature of being packaged with meat.
