The 1958 Kahn's Baseball Set contains 29 cards that were produced from the Ohio based meat company Kahn's. Due to their close proximity to the company, these cards featured players from the Cincinnati Reds, as well as players from the Philadelphia Phillies and the Pittsburgh Pirates.
These 1958 Kahn's Baseball cards were unnumbered, and the fronts of the cards showcased a black and white photo of the player along with an autograph. The backs of these cards feature a short story from each player entitled "My Greatest Thrill in Baseball." This set contains short prints of Wally Post, Charlie Rabe, and Frank Thomas. As was typical for Kahn's cards, cards in high grades are a scarcity due to the harsh nature of being packaged with meat.
