1961 Bazooka Panels
The 1961 Bazooka Baseball Card Panel Set contained 12, three-card, blank back panels that came featured on the backs of packs of Bazooka gum. While their hand cut nature can cause exact dimensions to vary, they typically measure 2 3/4" by 5 1/2".
Complete panels were hard to come by, as many young collectors of the day cut each panel into the three individual cards. Panels are often hard to come by in higher grades as well since they will not receive a grade unless they feature the complete dotted line border surrounding the panel.
Hall of Famers from this set are Ernie Banks, Mickey Mantle, Roger Maris, Frank Robinson, and Warren Spahn.
