The 1958 Bell Brand Dodgers set was the first of a series of four sets put out by the potato chip company. These cards were unique to the other releases from Bell Brand in that they contained a black and white photograph surrounded by a green wood border, and were larger than the other cards as these measured 3" by 4".
Due to the harsh nature of being packaged with a greasy food product, it can be hard to find these cards in high grades. Also, due to a handful of short printed cards in this small set, these cards are the hardest to find, and the most expensive, of all of the Bell Brand Dodgers sets issued.
