Grading Stats Explained

This 1967 Topps New York Mets Team Set contains the 1967 Topps Mets baseball cards and makes a great gift for any Mets fan.  With an inventory of over 15,000 team sets, Dean's Cards has Team Sets & Near Team Sets for just about every team, in multiple conditions, for all sports, for most major sets issued between 1909 and 1979.

By 1967, the Mets farm system was five years old, and was beginning to produce prospects.  As a result, the 1967 Topps set included quite a of the Mets rookies that did not previously have baseball cards.  The cards for these rookies were included to the 1967 Topps 6th Series of cards and produced in limited numbers, making them expensive today.

These high number cards, which are excluded from this standard 1967 Topps Mets Team, could easily increase the price of the set by 20 to 30 times its current cost!  These cards can be purchased separately. Most of the omitted cards are of players that never made it and are easily forgotten today.  The notable exception, is the #581 Tom Seaver Rookie Card.
