The 1977 Topps Football Card Set includes 528 standard size cards, which were issued in one series, and measure 2½" by 3½".  The subsets are the League Leaders (1-6), Team Checklists (201-228), Record Breakers (451-455) & Playoff Highlights (526-528).  Finding the unmarked team checklists, along with centering issues, make the 1977 Topps football cards condition sensitive.

The front of each of the 1977 cards has a white border with the team name in a banner at the top. The players' names and positions are above their photo. The text on the back of the 1977 Topps football cards are in red and black, including stats and a college corner section at the bottom.

The 1977 Topps Football Card Set features over fifty Hall-of-Fame players, including the Rookie Cards of #63 Lee Roy Selmon, #50 Mike Haynes, #99 Mike Webster, #146 Harry Carson, and #177 Steve Largent.

Different Types of Complete Sets
Complete sets from Dean's Cards are organized in three different ways:

1) (In Box) which means the set has actual scans of a few major star players.

2) (In Binder) indicates that the complete set comes in a binder with 9-page binder pages.  The (In Binder) sets are available as they are acquired from personal collections.

3) If the set is listed with neither of these designations, then the set is built virtually from our million card inventory.  The cards are individually graded, and front and back scans are provided.  These sets are usually priced a bit higher than the sets in box and in binder due to the labor involved.
