This 1962 Topps Master Set has all of the variations.  Not many collectors can brag that they own the 693 card 1962 Topps Complete Master Set, with all the variation cards.

In the spring of 1962, the sales of the 2nd Series of Topps baseball cards exceeded expectations and Topps decided that they would like to have another run of the 2nd Series cards printed.  This set includes each of the second series of cards, in both the regular and also in the green tint version.

By the time Topps' printer started working on the 3rd Series of cards, the folks at Topps decided to contract with another printing company to produce more of the 1962 Series 2 cards.  So, the company packed up the printing plates and shipped them to the new printer.

Two things went wrong.  Several of the printing plated were damaged in transit and had to be replaced, creating some nice variation cards.  Additionally, many of the cards were a bit blurry and had a Green Tint to them.  Thus, the greatest Topps Variation Set of the 1960's was born!
