This 1962 Topps New York Mets Team Set contains the 1962 Topps Mets baseball cards and makes a great gift for any Mets fan.  With an inventory of over 15,000 team sets, Dean's Cards has Team Sets & Near Team Sets for just about every team, in multiple conditions, for all sports, for most major sets issued between 1909 and 1979.
The inaugural 1962 New York Mets brought NL baseball back to New York for the first time since 1957. The Mets had a 40-120 record but became lovable losers and were nicknamed the Amazing Mets by manager Casey Stengel.  
The 1962 Topps High Numbered Cards, begin with card #523 and contain some very expensive short-printed cards, whom quite often players that no one has ever heard of. The cards in the 1962 Topps Rookie Parade subset, which includes cards #591 to #598, are NOT included in standard team sets. The Rookie Parade cards each have five players, from multiple teams and can be purchased separately. These cards are very expensive and not considered part of a standard 1962 Topps Team Set.
