This 1967 Topps New York Mets Team Set contains 26 cards and makes a great gift for any Mets fan. The 1967 Mets finished 10th in the NL with a 61-101 record.

The 1967 Topps New York Mets Team Set includes fan favorite #165 Cleon Jones. The #165 Cleon Jones card has the logo of the 1966 Topps All-Star Rookie trophy. The set features the Rookie card of #306 Bud Harrelson, plus the official Rookie card of Greg Goossen on the #287 Mets Rookies card (also with Bart Shirley). The only high-number card is #537 Chuck Estrada.

By 1967, the Mets farm system was five years old, and was beginning to produce prospects. As a result, the 1967 Topps set included quite a few of the Mets rookies that did not previously have baseball cards. The cards for these rookies were included in the 1967 Topps 6th Series of cards and produced in limited numbers, making them expensive today. These high number cards, which are excluded from this standard 1967 Topps Mets Team, could easily increase the price of the set by 20 to 30 times its current cost! These cards can be purchased separately. Most of the omitted cards are of players that never made it and are easily forgotten today. The notable exception is the #581 Tom Seaver Rookie Card.

For a more affordable alternative, check out our 1967 Topps New York Mets Near Team Set. With an inventory of over 20,000 team sets online, Dean's Cards has a huge selection of New York Mets Team Sets.
